Choice 14-Day Warranty

Choice Aquariums was founded, is owned, and staffed by aquarium hobbyists. We understand how important that new addition is to your aquarium system, and in that regard our company selects specimen from the best sources, employs outstanding equipment to maintain our livestock, and practices excellent animal husbandry protocols to ensure your specimens are delivered safely and in the best of health. So confident are we in the quality of our livestock, not only do we promise safe delivery, but we also warranty the specimens you purchase from Choice Aquariums for 14-days from date of purchase.

We offer our marine & discus livestock, with the Choice 14-Day Warranty, both in our retail store and on-line. For Internet customers, you have the option of paying freight & box charges to have your order delivered or you can opt to pick-up at the store. Please refer to the terms and conditions below as they may apply to how you intend on purchasing your specimens from Choice Aquariums.

Internet Customer – Delivered Order

  • Warranty requires customer signature at first delivery attempt by DHL. Delivery status may be confirmed with your DHL tracking number.
  • Warranty claims must be E-mailed to warranty@choiceaquariums.com within 14-days from date of purchase.
  • Warranty claim E-mail must include customer name, address of delivery, phone number, order number and a digital photograph of specimen's remains.
  • Customer must retain specimen's remains frozen in a plastic freezer bag until warranty claim is resolved.
  • Choice Aquariums may require the specimen's remains for necropsy to collect data that would aid in maintaining our livestock.
  • If Choice Aquariums requires the remains, customer must make the remains available for pick-up in the package in which it was received.
  • Warranty claims that do not meet the stated criteria are resolved at the discretion of Choice Aquariums, LLC.
  • Credit for warranty claims will be processed in the form in which payment was received or as a credit to your Choice account.
  • Credit is limited to the specimen and does not include freight or box charges.
  • Michigan Sales Tax is charged on sales within the state.
  • Choice Aquariums does not accept returns.

Internet Customer – Pick-up at DHL

  • Warranty requires customer pick-up at DHL location by 12:00 noon on the day of delivery.
  • Warranty claims must be E-mailed to warranty@choiceaquariums.com within 14-days from date of purchase.
  • Warranty claim E-mail must include customer name, address of delivery, phone number, order number and a digital photograph of specimen's remains
  • Customer must retain specimen's remains frozen in a plastic freezer bag until warranty claim is resolved.
  • Choice Aquariums may require the specimen's remains for necropsy to collect data that would aid in maintaining our livestock.

  • Warranty claims must be made at the store during normal business hours within 14-days from date of purchase.
  • Customer must have purchase receipt.
  • Customer must make warranty claim with specimen's remains in a plastic freezer bag, specimen's remains may be frozen if circumstance warrants.
  • Choice Aquariums may require the specimen's remains for necropsy to collect data that would aid in maintaining our livestock.
  • Warranty claims that do not meet the stated criteria are resolved at the discretion of Choice Aquariums, LLC.
  • Credit for warranty claims will be processed in the form in which payment was received or as a credit to your Choice account.
  • Michigan Sales Tax is charged on sales within the state.
